Coaching: WTA Coaching w/Kevin O'Neill (Caty McNally)

In this podcast, we get the chance to talk to Kevin O’Neill, the coach of WTA singles #94 and WTA doubles #21. Kevin has been working with Caty and her brother John who recently retired for quite some time, and I wanted to pick his brain a little bit and learn about tour coaching. Kevin has an incredibly positive outlook on life and tennis which is apparent on his Instagram page @kpotennis and is obvious throughout our discussion. Kevin is working to help Caty mold a full “All Court” style of play to diversify her abilities to make her more consistent across surfaces. I would definitely keep Caty and her doubles partner CoCo Gauff at the forefront of your mind when considering up-and-coming young stars!
