Story 19 – When Giants Keep You from Glory
Numbers 13–14
They were one step away.
One decision from stepping into everything God had promised.
But instead of moving forward—
They froze.
Not because Pharaoh was chasing them…
But because fear was.
Twelve spies scout the land.
Ten come back terrified.
Only two still believe.
And just like that—an entire generation dies in the wilderness.
Not because of giants.
But because of unbelief.
This isn’t just their story.
It’s ours.
Because every one of us faces a moment when the promise feels too risky, too costly, too uncertain.
And the question isn’t, “Is God real?”
It’s, “Do I trust Him enough to move?”
If you’ve ever stood on the edge of something holy—
And let fear talk you out of it—
This episode is for you.
Story 20 – Look and Live
Numbers 21
They’re tired.
Hungry.
Worn down by wilderness.
And their gratitude turns to grumbling.
So God sends snakes.
Not out of cruelty—but clarity.
And then He gives the cure:
A bronze serpent, lifted high.
The very image of what wounded them.
And everyone who looks… lives.
It sounds strange.
But it’s a pattern.
Because healing doesn’t always come by avoiding the pain.
Sometimes it comes by facing it—
And lifting it into the light.
Centuries later, Jesus will say:
“Just as Moses lifted the serpent… so must the Son of Man be lifted up.”
This story was never just about snakes.
It was about the cross.
If you’ve ever carried venom from the past—
And wondered how healing really happens—
This story is yours.
Story 21 – Marching in Circles
Joshua 6
The people have finally arrived.
Out of the wilderness.
Across the Jordan.
And now, before them stands Jericho.
God says, “The city is yours.”
But the battle plan?
March in circles.
Six days—once around.
On the seventh, seven times.
No weapons.
No logic.
Just obedience.
Sometimes that’s what faith feels like—
Walking in silence.
Circling the same thing.
Hoping something’s changing beneath the surface.
And then—
On the seventh day, they shout.
And the walls fall.
Not because of strength.
But because of faithfulness.
If you’re doing everything right—
And it still feels like nothing’s moving…
This story is your reminder:
Breakthrough often comes after obedience looks like repetition.
Keep walking.
