A Most Wanted Man (2014)

A Most Wanted Man (2014)

Tim, Kinsley, and Andrew discuss the 2014, posthumously released "spy thriller" A Most Wanted Man. Why? Because this was Philip Seymour Hoffman's final leading role before he passed and it has all the nuance and exceptionality you could ask for in a goodbye. Is this a good movie or is just PSH great? What's with some of the other casting choices? Do artists have to be tortured to be any good? What's the relationship between beauty and terror? Is the last scene of this movie one of the best ever? All that and more in this third episode of "That's That: A Philip Seymour Hoffman Retrospective".

This episode's guests are friend and fellow PSH enthusiast Kinsley Koons Whitworth and artisté brother Andrew Paul Davis. Kinsley wants and deserves more Twitter followers. Andrew is campaigning for the rights to @andrewpauldavis on Twitter.

"That's That" is sponsored by One County Film Company, produced and hosted by Timothy Mark Davis, edited by Ryan Arnst, with show music composed by Jessica Rae Huber, and artwork by Drew Hanagen. Additional music from Kadir Demir and Ben Winwood.

Our next episode is on the 1994 Paul Newman vehicle, Nobody's Fool, currently streaming on Amazon Prime. A film featuring a young PSH in a supporting role (as a total douché bag cop).

Final scene of A Most Wanted Man for your viewing pleasure.
