That’s how Bhuts Tunz describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up in Soweto, a vibrant musical hub, this impact of different sounds have played a huge influence in his deejaying pallet. His own love for music combined with his passion has seen him flourish in he field for over 10 years. Bhuts ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.
Though he loves playing in clubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a qualified Sound Engineer/producer,and brand builder, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He also has hosted his own solo gigs , A HangOut with BhutsTunz, a musical experience that sees host all backgrounds with one thing in mind, the unity in music and having a great time.
