Interviews and conversations with musicians and producers involved with or inspired by 60s music and recording techniques.
Spencer Tweedy is a Chicago-based musician, drummer, and songwriter, known, not least, for his work with the indie-folk band Waxahatchee, legendary vocalist Mavis Staples, and collaborations with his father, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. In 2020, he also authored Mirror Sound, a book exploring the art and process of DIY recording.
This is part two of my conversation with Spencer. So if you haven't listened to part one yet, check out episode #111 first - it will make more sense that way!
