Logan's persistence in learning about Zoe's troubled family history leads to a huge fight that ends their relationship, and he disappears on a plane before Zoe can make amends.
Episode Summary:
On their 5th date, Logan pushes Zoe to reveal secrets about her family that she's not ready to discuss. Zoe finally admits she accidentally shot her father as a child, leading to his death from cancer. Her mother became an alcoholic and Zoe spent her childhood in foster care. Logan feels awful for dredging up Zoe's painful past.
Though he tries apologizing, a furious Zoe ends their relationship. Logan begs her to reconsider but realizes the damage is done. He disappears suddenly, leaving Zoe a voicemail that he's on a plane and doesn't want her back after she broke his heart.
Zoe is devastated and tries calling Logan but only gets his voicemail. Their relationship seems ruined because of Logan's persistence in learning Zoe's history before she was ready.
