The X film series consists of American horror films based on an original story written by Ti West. The series includes the original film X, its prequel Pearl, and its sequel MaXXXine. The overall plot of the movies centers on two characters, Maxine "Max" Minx and Pearl, both portrayed by Mia Goth.
