
One of the unique challenges that arise in our 30s is supporting our parents as they enter a new phase in their own lives. With old age comes new challenges with health, money, and changing social networks. While many millennials welcome the duty of taking care of their aging parents, it nonetheless presents a new challenge that provokes some difficult conversations. What will our parents do once they can no longer look after themselves? What are acceptable tradeoffs between medical care and maintaining a familiar quality of life? What makes home feel like home?
