
War, what is it good for? In this episode, I examine a conundrum that has been called the greatest unsolved mystery of World War I. All wars are bad, there simply is no such thing as a good war, however, some wars stand out in the collective conscious as being particularly debilitating and soul crushing. I would say World War I, with such factors as trench foot, shell shock and no antibiotics playing a major role certainly qualifies.
