Real-Life Captain America Zach Thomas on Entrepreneurship and Life

Back in the day, Zach Thomas was selected as the top Eagle Scout in the nation. As we all know, such an honor is extremely rare. Among other things, It was one of the qualifiers that got him into West Point, the United States Military Academy, and so began his military career.  He served almost 7 years active duty as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer before leaving the Army to pursue the Chaplaincy and entrepreneurship.

.On this episode, we'll talk about:

  • Was it because he was raised as an only child that he craved a large family later in life? Or is it his wife who drives it? What do most people choose? And how does that work?
  • What was one of his greatest challenges as an entrepreneur?
  • What would the short game look like if he were to take that risk and try to make it better immediately? What is he giving up? In other words, to play the long game?
  • The Point System
  • The mindset of a business owner today as it relates to hiring
  • When Zach and I came up with this rocket analogy after coming out of this leadership training in Florida. And I thought this was such a breakthrough for the way people ought to lead. How is that different from what most companies do?
  • What is Zach's biggest failure and learning experience?

Zack Thomas is an experienced entrepreneur and business leader. published author, speaker, and coach. graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
