A son of a cop and sheet metal worker from the southside of St. Louis... Nick Kimble is the current Missouri House Rep for the 82nd District. Nick talks about his blue collar roots and his approach to Jeff City in an attempt to operate as a more pragmatic D from a city many see as dying to push it’s Progressive boundaries. In a supermajority Republican state that leans to the far right side of the ”Red-Team” spectrum, his beliefs and approach try to balance focusing on his constituents while dealing with a largely uncompromising majority party.
