I straight up adored both this book and it's author. I'm a sucker for books with interesting and quirky characters, humor, and mystery--especially when there's just enough sadness to make that lump form in my throat but I'm hopeful that it's all going to work out in the end. And when a story like this is set on a small island that is just as much of a character as any of the characters? TOTALLY IN!
