He obtained a Master's Degree from the University of Kaiserslautern, the University of Southampton, and a PhD from the Chalmers University of Technology. Before moving to Berlin, Alex was a Visiting Postdoc at MIT Media Lab and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore.
