Ep. 23 - The Great Skills Shortage with Mark Capaldi (Part 1)

This is a 3 part series looking at the skills shortage in the UK which has been highlighted by big organisations such as Amazon who have recently put out a mass of free online learning for cloud tools. With this in mind, we wanted to see if this is true from the people on the ground. We first spoke to Mark Capaldi head of design and engineering at ECS a Global Logic Company. We shed some light on whats actually going on including his thoughts on how companies can attract and retain talent with in the industry. How companies can develop in house training if they don't have any to keep their staff up to speed on the latest trends and what steps managers and individuals can take to solve the problem of the skills shortage.

As always please like share and subscribe to our podcast. It really does help in more ways than you know.
