Flavilla Fongang is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of 3 Colours Rule — an award winning creative branding and marketing agency. Notable in her industry, Flavilla won the 'She's Mercedes' businesswomen award, placed within the top two most influential tech women in the UK in 2021 and is the chosen brand ambassador for the BBC.
Determined to create a movement that would benefit generations to come, Flavilla founded TLA — Black Women in Tech, hosts a podcast 'Tech Brains Talk' and worked alongside 51 black women to curate 'Voices in the shadow' — a inspirational look into the journeys these women have been on, and the legacies they will leave behind.
We are so grateful to Flavilla for taking the time to record this episode. Not only do we gain a better understanding of the motives for this book, plans for volume two and the movement Flavilla has been so instrumental in creating, we discuss some of the barriers black women in tech face today and the importance of roles models.
