Mobile Driver’s License, Disc-less Xbox, and The End of First Dates
CNET reports that 2020 could be the year we start using phones to replace our drivers license. Android phones that are compatible with Qualcomm’s high end snapdragon 865 chip will support the new android R feature. The phone will securely save your drivers license and other ID’s. Fun fact — phones running the snapdragon 865 chip will also be capable of powering 200 megapixel photos. According to the website Kotaku, Microsoft is STILL rumored to be releasing a disc less Xbox next year. This is all said to be a part of Microsoft’s project Scarlett, which might consist of a new high powered console to take on the PlayStation 5, as well as a lower cost, cloud gaming only Xbox. What do you think? Would you be down to save some money for a more casual gaming Xbox experience? Let me know on Twitter. @shanelother

In the age of dating and hookup apps like tinder and bumble, what comes next? Well a dating app called the league, which is focused on professionalism and LinkedIn, has just launched a new service called the league live, and first dates may never be the same. League Live let’s users speed date via live video chats. The live video feeds aim to fix user complaints over things like misleading photos. Amanda Bradford, ceo of the league, says “in person dates will definitely be replaced by digital dates, as the stakes are lower and with video chatting you can figure out whether or not you click within the first few minutes.” Also... remember chat roulette?
