In this episode, we're speaking with Erin Silcox a doctoral student in the Ph.D. Literacy program at the University of Wyoming. Erin conducts research on trauma-informed literacy practices. In this episode, she will share with us what a trauma-informed literacy practice is and how sanctioning tough topics in your classroom and support students' literacy development. She also provides two things teachers can do to get started.
