Dare to HOPE Again

Titas, we dare you to hope again.

Even if your prayers have long been unanswered.

Even if your miracle has yet to come.

Even if you’re tired of praying.

Even if God has been silent for too long.

We dare you, hope again.

Even if you are angry.

Even if you are afraid.

Even if you are frustrated.

Even if you are doubtful.

We dare you, beautiful, to cling to that last tiny bit of hope. We dare you to come to God and ask Him again. Ask one more time. Pray one more broken prayer. Tell Him that you have lost all hope, but here you are, asking again.

We dare you.

Why are we asking this of you? Because, beautiful, we believe that even if you have lost all hope, God is still good. God is still faithful. And God is holding on to the hopes that you’ve let go of, in your fear. God has never given up on you, even if you’ve already given up on Him.

Dare to ask one more time. Then dare to ask again.

God listens. God knows. And God delivers.

Dare to hope again. :)

How to Build Your Prayer Time

Low batt na ba kayo, titas? Just like our gadgets, we need regular charging too-- physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. That's why it's important that we plug in to the Source: GOD.

In this episode, we talk about the status of our prayer life, how we (try to) manage to pray despite our busy schedules, and the overall importance of prayer. Also, we partnered with Feast Books-- leading local publisher of inspirational books, magazines and prayer devotionals, for this episode! It's our first ever partnership for Tea Time Thursdays, so this is really very special to us! :)

Keeping a Positive Mindset

During trying times, it's easier to sulk while we drown in all the negative things surrounding us. But titas, for our sanity and wellbeing, we need to learn to find positivity amidst chaos. Remaining to be optimistic and hopeful can really help us not only with our own happiness, but also with the happiness of the people around us.

In this episode, we sat down with a very optimistic and happy tita, Erika Ventura. She is an HR professional and a loving wife and business partner to Hype Streetball's Nino Ventura on YouTube! Oras nanaman para sa isang chikahan na puno ng ka-titahan and katatawanan. :)

On Making Big Decisions

Titas, when was the last time you made a big life decision?

"Should I resign from this job?", "Should I say yes to my suitor?", "Should I grab this opportunity abroad?", "Am I really for married life?"

Ang hirap, no? There are a lot of questions running through our minds whenever we have to make major decisions, like "What if I make a mistake?".

It's easy to overthink the worst scenarios or outcome. So in this episode, we share how we undergo the process of major decision making, and how we learned to let go of the things we can no longer control.

Happy listening, titas!

Let's Talk About Body Image

Titas, are you proud of your bodies? Do you see all its good features, or do you tend to focus more on the parts that you don't like? Do you feel confident when you see yourself in the mirror?

Society has given us false standards of what a "beautiful body" should look like, and we've been doing everything to fit into these parameters. Titas, eating healthy and having regular exercise are good habits. But let's look at our main WHY. Why do we want to lose or gain weight? Why do we want bigger breasts, smaller waistlines, taller heights, leaner arms, etc.? Are we really doing these to appreciate our bodies, or is it because of something else?

In this meaningful season ender, we chat once again with psychologist, author and self-care maker, Dr. Michele Alignay, to really dig deep into why almost all women have a negative body image. Tara na't mag tawanan at chikahan. :)

Paano Ka Magmahal? Understanding the 5 Love Languages

Titas, nafeel niyo na ba yung parang kayo lang yung nagmamahal? OUCH! Pero as benefit of the doubt, baka naman magkaiba lang kayo ng love language. We have five love languages according to Gary Chapman: Gifts, Quality Time, Acts of Service, Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation. In order to sustain loving relationships (all kinds), we need to be intentional in knowing our own love language, and our loved ones' as well.

So we hope this episode helps you learn more about it! Grab your coffee or tea and let's have another fun chikahan!

Brand Conscious Ka Ba?

Do you sometimes find yourself wanting to buy branded clothes, bags, or shoes, just because you feel more confident in them? Yung for some reason, you're willing to spend P2000, P3,000, P5,000, P10,000 or even P50,000 or P100,000 for certain branded items? If your honest answer is YES, we feel you, titas!

We're not here to throw shade at anyone, because we also have our occasional splurges. And we also have some things that we'll never splurge on! But at the same time, let's also assess ourselves-- why are we really buying these things? Do they serve a specific purpose in our life? Or sometimes, are we only "justifying" these purposes so we won't feel guilty afterwards? (aminin!!!)

Here's another #honesthonesthonesthonest session with the titas!
