Mr. Abhirup Dasgupta is a partner in the Dispute Resolution and Restructuring & Insolvency practice of HSA Advocates. He has over 10 years of experience in dispute resolution, and specializes in Insolvency & Bankruptcy laws, securitisation laws and corporate and banking litigation. He is one of the earliest insolvency law practitioners since the enactment of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, having appeared and argued in the first ever Resolution Plan approved in the country. He regularly advises all stakeholders involved in the insolvency process and represents them before the NCLT, NCLAT, high courts and the Supreme Court. Mr. Abhirup talks about his journey in the profession and his experience of being a part of the first insolvency petition in India.
