Ep 2. Eye on Nigeria - Informal Sector Taxation

In this episode, we are putting a spotlight on the informal tax sector in Nigeria. The country’s informal sector is taxed by the local government. According to a report by Overseas Development Institute (ODI), it was concluded that the abundance of Nigeria’s natural resources (particularly oil and gas) probably limits public interest in domestic taxes.

Bezawit Mekonnen hosts Chinedu Bassey, Program Manager at Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC).
