Tawheed - The Three Fundamental Principles
Sh. Ahmad Musa Jibril.
Sheikh Ahmad was born in the United States, and spent part of his childhood in the city of Madina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when his father, Sheikh Musa Jibril, was a student at the Islamic University of Madina. It was there where Sheikh Ahmad also became Hafidh al Qur'an at the age of 11. Sheikh Ahmad then spent the rest of his younger years back in the United States graduating from high school in 1989. Thereafter, he studied at the Islamic University of Madina as his father did, and graduated with a degree in the Shari'a. He returned to the United States and finished his JD/LLM (masters of law) degree from Michigan law schools. May Allah (azza wajal) reward him and his family. Ameen.
InshaAllah, through this humble effort, we want to bring rightly guided committed beliefs and dedicated practices of Islam in it's pure form as intended by the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), and understood by his companions, and practiced by the followers of the companions, and subsequently by their followers the tabi'een and tabi' tabi'een back into every aspect of life for all members of the Muslim ummah.
May Allah reward you all for your efforts. Ameen.

Outline:
So if it is said to you: What are the three principles which a person must know?
then say the servants knowledge of His Lord
-Why he presented the issue in Q & A format?
-He also started with a general statement on the three principles then went specific.
-So if it is said to youفَإِذَا قِيلَ لَكَ:
Why he left out the questioner?
THE three
التِّي يَجِبُ which a person "must" know
-The method to attain ma3rifah he skipped.
-Ma3rifah includes belief and action.
-Ma3rifah means knowing after ignorance so the word ma3rifah can be used to describe human knowledge not Allah's SWT
-ma3rifah is "usually" in the context of matters vilifed in the koran - not always.
-Firm knowledge and belief
-Types of servants
Are we going to be tested about lordship (Rububiyyah) and not worship (Uluhiyyah) in the grave?
Religion and his messenger
So if it is said to you: 'Who is your Lord?' Then say: 'My Lord is Allaah,
-(ف is f of explanation الفصيحة
-Don't disdain the belief in this simple question
-Definition of Rab
-Elaborating more on the issue of 'Are we going to be tested about lordship (Rububiyyah) and not worship (Uluhiyyah) in the grave?'
2 ways scholars included Uluhiyyah under Rubuiyyah
SAY: 'My Lord is Allaah, who has nurtured me and all of creation with His favors and blessings,
He is the one whom I worship!
After establishing the foundation of Rubuiyyah in the question he mentioned Uluhiyyah to show it's included in the question.
and there is no other whom I worship besides Him
-He used nafy and ithbaat (affirming only lord and denying all others besides him)
