Tarik Podcast is happy to introduce our fourth episode of our Prominent Ethiopian Women series.

Join us as we discuss the role of some of the amazing heroines of Ethiopia who led, defended & built our great nation Ethiopia.

Feminists like Yaqeqe who stood bravely against a patriarchial system, and demanded the rights of women be respected.

Queens like the great Mentewab, one of the most influencial and powerful monarchs of the era of the princes.

Patriots such as Shewareged Gedle who fought fiercely against the Italian Fascists until Ethiopia was victorious.

Princess Tsehai who graduated as a registered nurse from London's Great Ormond Street Hospital and was instrumental in educating Ethiopians in nursing practices.

We will forever pay homage to the great women of Ethiopia who have sacrificed beyond measure for our nation. May eternal praise & glory be forever theirs ✊🏾
