Hubbard is the publisher and owner of the Bellefontaine Examiner, an independently and continuously family-owned newspaper serving Logan County, Ohio, since 1891. Hubbard, the fifth generation to work in his family’s 134-year-old business, began working at the newspaper in 2005. He was elevated to the position of publisher in 2023, when his father, Jon Hubbard, who had 57 years of service with the Examiner, passed away. The lifelong Logan County, Ohio, resident and 1994 Bellefontaine High School graduate, lives in Bellefontaine with his wife, Hollie.
