Chris Dover served in the US Marines early in his career. He got interested in the market in 1999 during the Dot.com boom. He was originally taught systematic trading, but moved away from it for a period for a “hero’s journey”. He ultimately found his way back to systematic trading and is now fully engrossed in it across a range of different markets. This is an honest conversation about the “business” of systematic trading and how it allows Chris an enviable degree of freedom to do the things he enjoys most.
