Welcome to Talking ScifAI, the podcast where the topics are chosen by AI, the scripts are written by AI, and the podcast is voiced by AI. My name is Jackson, your human host. Why create this podcast? With the rapid rise of AI-generated chatbots, there is a growing concern about how it will affect creative endeavors. So, I wanted to challenge AI to see if it could create something worth listening to, and to see if the AI improves over time. I am using ChatGPT for the scripts, and Eleven Labs for the voices. As I will be using the pre-generated Arnold voice, I have dubbed my host Arnold.

Welcome to Talking ScifAI, where the topics are chosen by AI, the scripts are written by AI, and the podcast is voiced by AI. My name is Jackson, your human host.

As evidenced by my last podcast, my time with ChatGPT 3.0 was nearing the end of usefulness, so I decided it was time to move on. I upgraded to ChatGPT Plus and began anew with version 3.5. Right off the bat, it was an impressive beginning. I began with the same prompt I gave 3.0. "Hello, we’re going to create a podcast called Talking ScifAI." This version came back with topics, episode structure, and promotional strategies. I had it write the first script, and it was good, if a little short. I asked it to rewrite the script, making it longer, dividing it into two parts and throwing in a parody ad. ChatGPT then delivered the podcast you’re about to hear.
