Join me in a journey of learning from my peers and random humans. I try to extract their life experience in 1 to 2 hour conversations. This podcast is about learning of a variety of fields, feel the emotional connection to life events, challenging one's beliefs and growing in the process. Growing up and living in conservative places stops certain topics to be discussed. Hearing like-minded people talk makes me feel less weird and lonely.

During her studies to become a part-time waitress, I heard she is about to fly out to Italy for three months to work as a model. I instantly thought 'why the hell would you continue to study to be a waitress'. She finished the course - which I probably would not have if I heard I am working internationally as a model; plus; waiters are not treated all that well in SA - and showed a resilience, desire and humility during the training. These hardworking qualities are rare not only in humans but especially younger people. When hearing she used to do MMA - mixed martial arts - I really got curious to see who the person is behind the 'plain / rebel' looking image. Our conversation almost went two hours where we talked about: 1) How she became a model 2) What to expect when you are a model 3) Her tertiary degree from TUKS in Information Science 4) Healthy lifestyle & nutrition 5) Her MMA 'career; 6) Working abroad 7) We analysed/ discussed 10 pictures from her career 8) Social Media 9) Modelling agencies 10) Being a professional model
