Too Woke, Too Waxed: Wexford hits Crete

While Ray Mac lounges like a sun-kissed lizard somewhere mysterious, Jorma holds the (Venetian) fort from sunny Chania, Crete with controversial Irish artist Jamie T. Murphy co-hosting from Wexford, Ireland.

It's a summer special packed with sketches, poetry, and stories you probably wouldn’t hear on the BBC.

Jamie turns the tables and interviews Jorma, leading to a chaotic mix of nonsense and nostalgia that's a real insightful treat for regular listeners. including too much information about pubic depilation, jam, King Charles' breakfast, the rigours of wokeness and a surprisingly moving tribute to Ray softcore 80s film collection.

The lads mostly manage to avoid politics and sport, but absolutely nobody is safe from mockery.

Highlights Include:

  • Morgan Freeman Poem – “Canadian Waxing”
  • King Charles has awkward family chats with Meghan and Harry (Sketch)
  • A musical tribute to Ray Mac’s taste in 80s erotica
  • Middle England woman arrested at a jam-making festival (Sketch)
  • Kiss & Tell: Ray and Jorma unpack a dodgy dogging date from a listener letter
  • Kaiden Stokes: The Really Woke Bloke lectures a mum at a café (Sketch)

PS: Check out Jamie’s podcast on mental health – Ya Alrite Hun?
