12: For the Culture with Dr. Day

Is there a Doctor in the house?!... Funny you should ask… In fact there is, this week! We are so excited to invite Dr. Dayanara Thompson (Dr. Day) to the podcast! A dear friend, an activist, a chiropractor, corporate wellness CEO, and a somatic therapist- she is a Jane of all trades who uses her voice to uplift, educate, and inspire. Dr. Day’s interest in Holistic Wellness began when she studied physiology and health sciences at California State University, East Bay. Following her passion for helping others, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for the City of Oakland, CA. During her time as an EMT, Dr. Day was involved in a serious accident, leaving her unable to use her left leg from the knee down. This injury inspired her to find ways to heal her systems holistically. With her knowledge and first-hand experiences, she was able to transform her life completely as well as the lives of others. You will walk away from this episode with a renewed sense of power. Take two of those and call us in the morning. ;)
