Bethany Frazer of What Matters Ministries and Casa Angelina Orphanage in Guatemala joins Laurie Hammer to share her heart for rescuing and restoring children who have survived unimaginable trauma. She recounts stories of faith, healing, and miracles—including children healed from spina bifida, restored hearing, and lives transformed through education and love.
The ministry, founded by her parents 41 years ago, began with U.S. preaching but grew into international missions in Guatemala and Kenya. Casa Angelina not only rescues orphans but raises them into adulthood with education, love, and purpose. Beyond the orphanage, the ministry provides food and homes for widows, feeding centers for children in Kenya, and support for the poor and forgotten.
Bethany also shares how she copes with constant exposure to trauma—learning to focus on what God puts in her hands each day and trusting Him for strength.
