Every year, two schools prepare for war on a rugby field. Christ’s College. Christchurch Boys’ High. Black and white vs. blue and black. This isn’t just a game... It's a rite of passage. A tradition. But is it all pride and glory? Or something deeper? Maybe even... darker?

In this final episode, we go beyond the scoreboard. What does the game mean to the players themselves? How do they deal with the nerves, the noise, and the weight of history? We speak to current students and senior players about how they prepare mentally and physically, what support from the crowd feels like (both good and bad) and how past experiences shape their mindset today. From nerves to rituals, we get up close and personal about one of New Zealand’s greatest schoolboy traditions.
