Founders Gordon and Maggie Hartman were inspired by their daughter, Morgan, who has cognitive and physical disabilities. During a family vacation, Morgan tried to engage with other children in a pool, but due to communication barriers, they didn’t know how to respond and moved away. Seeing her disappointment, the Hartmans envisioned a place where every child, regardless of ability, could play together. That vision became a reality in 2010 with the opening of Morgan’s Wonderland, the first ultra-accessible theme park in the world.
