Welcome to Swans & Co., a podcast where we chat with dancers from all over the world about ballet, our lives as dancers (and regular young people), our struggles and dreams and anything interesting! I’m Clara and I’m a student at the Dutch National Ballet Academy. So grab a cup of tea (coffee and wine are also perfectly acceptable) and a warm blanket and start listening! enjoy xxx

Noemi Boisnon ep.1 (FNB Youth Co): starting late, scoliosis and getting out of your ballet bubble
hey! back at it again after some much-needed holidays xx and we’re back with the AMAZING (I mean it!!) Noemi Boisnon who is not only an amazing friend of mine, but also a crazy talented dancer and a polyglot (EN/FR/DE/IT and the list goes on…).
in today’s episode, which is the first part of our conversation, we’ll talk about how she started ballet at 13 and got into a professional ballet school just two years after having been introduced to dancing! We’ll talk about the physical issues she encountered and how she learned to work with her body. And we’ll also discuss how it is to grow up in a ballet family, and how Noemi maintains a good work life balance.
have fun folks xxx
