Carla has not only stepped onto the field as a player and coach since her son was in under 6's, she has stepped effortlessly into the role of Premier League Womens Manager role. The leadership, co-ordination and organisational efforts of Carla has seen the growth of competition and together with the Association members Sutherland Shire Football (SSFA) have paved a new path for young girls wanting to find their professional football feet.
Carla shares her wisdom and personal motivation about her involvement with grass roots football whilst reflecting on the impact it has had on her and the family that she raised in the local area.
'Changing the name to Premier League and changing the times of the games - creates pathways and opportunities to watch and play'. - Carla
'Positive Discrimination' is encouraged, allows us to see women in high level decision making roles will shape the game.
