In episode 33 of the Surveying the L&D Landscape podcast, I talk all things Leadership Development and his facilitation approach with Eric Girard, CEO of Girard Training Solutions, LLC.
During our conversation, we discuss:
How his approach to skill building mirrors his approach to scuba diving training;
How he sets the stage for in-person sessions and activates the learner’s senses with name tents, good smelling Mr. Sketch markers, fiddle toys, and music;
The responsibility managers have in managing their own stress, being attune to their emotions, and building the skill of empathy;
And so much more!
