Hey Mummas, welcome to the Super Mumma Podcast.

This is a space for us, mumma to mumma, to have open, honest, real conversations about what motherhood is really like. Because sometimes two mums just chatting on the sofa can make the biggest difference to how we feel.

Through these conversations I've learnt so much. Feeling less alone, understanding more about why I'm feeling how I am and even finding ideas of where to get extra support. And that's what the Super Mummahood is all about. Mums sharing their stories, supporting each other and reminding ourselves that even if our experiences aren't exactly the same, there will always be parts that we can relate to because motherhood is what connects us.

So I hope you'll join me for these conversations and I hope they bring you comfort, connection and a reminder that even on the toughest of days, you will always be a Super Mumma.

Let's get that conversation started!

IVF, Postnatal Depression and Rebuilding Myself

In this honest conversation, Neela Prabhu opens up about her real-life experience of IVF, unexplained infertility, and the emotional rollercoaster of trying to conceive. She shares what it’s really like navigating the pressure to get pregnant, how isolating fertility struggles can be, and the unexpected mental toll that can follow, even when the baby you dreamed of finally arrives.

Neela talks openly about postnatal depression, birth recovery, and how hard it is to admit you’re struggling when the world expects you to be over the moon. We chat about the silent expectations placed on mums, especially those who’ve been through IVF, and the importance of having support, not just for the baby, but for you too.

This episode is for every mum who's ever felt like she should be coping but isn’t. It’s a powerful reminder that you’re not alone, and you’re not failing. Motherhood is complex, messy, beautiful, and it’s okay to say it’s hard.

If anything discussed in the episode has got you needing to find further help please visit www.supermumma.co.uk where I have lots of places that offer support

I would love for you to carry on the conversation with other mums by sharing this episode . Please Like, Follow/Subscribe and I can't wait to talk to you again soon!

And remember... you are a SUPER MUMMA!
