The Super Good Juice Podcast is a place where hosts Mary-Jane and Bridget interview everyday women about their careers. We're not talking about women who have reached the lofty heights of the global C-suite or the prominent founders, there is already a heap of content about those people... we're talking about the everyday woman, your mum, your sister, your friend, your cousin, your colleague! We are excited to share the musings of women from a cross-section of industries at differing stages of their careers. Subscribe, so you don't miss an episode.

Episode 2 - Lauren (Ren) Joe, Community Development Practitioner

In today’s episode, Mary-Jane and Bridget speak with Lauren (Ren) Joe.

The first thing to strike anyone who meets Lauren is her abundantly warm, open heart. Her career story is one of compassion, of making an impact, and striving to create a better world with every interaction she makes, big or small.

In a   moment in time where there is a deep sense of urgency, Ren has been quite happy setting her own pace; in this episode she talks about her time at high school as Head Girl, dropping out of uni, working to travel (rinse and repeat), returning to uni, co-founding an organisation supporting charities, up until now in her role as a Community Development Practitioner.

This is a wonderful kōrero with ever-present themes of empathy, kindness, fairness and being true to yourself. We dare you to be inspired!
