In this episode (Ep. 12) - Obon Week, we talk about our week as usual. Jamie talks about hanging out at Moerenuma Park during Obon week during these times of Coronavirus. We talk about the summer heat in Sapporo and realize how lucky we are that we don't have to experience 3 months of Tokyo summer. We delve into Japan's "Go To" campaign and actually using it to go to a Hot Spring Hotel. Chad talks about his change of Obon plans and his experience at the Onsen (Hot Spring) Hotel at Lake Toya. We also talk about tattoos and going into the hot spring. We then get a little buzzed and start to ramblecast about summer BBQs and drunken sparring with drunk Japanese businessmen. Finally, we somehow start talking about Japanese boy bands and Japanese music.
