On this holy Tuesday evening, we continue walking with Christ on His road to the cross. Tonight’s readings confront us with two contrasting sets of eyes: the eyes of Judas, filled with deceit, and the eyes of Jesus, filled with love and sorrow. Judas chose to look at Jesus through the lens of greed and pride, while Jesus looked at His betrayer with compassion and heartbreak. This night, we’ll ask ourselves: How do we look at Christ? With faith, surrender, and love—or with hesitation, conditions, and fear? May our eyes be opened, and our hearts be softened, as we prepare to meet our Savior face to face in His suffering.
