Chris Ryan's beautiful son Sean transitioned suddenly in 2021 at the age of 23. As Chris and his wife Cyn struggled to make sense of this devastating loss they discovered the non profit group HelpingParentsHeal.org. From their involvement in this powerful group of more than 27.000 grieving parents, Chris discovered the "dad's group" that meets regularly on zoom to assist father's in their unique healing journeys. When Chris asked the dads if any of them would be willing to write their stories for a book he would compile just for dads, he was amazed that 25 of them gladly shared their stories of grief and connection to their children in spirit.
