Saosin - Translating The Name

Translating the Name is Saosin's first EP, released on June 17, 2003 through Death Do Us Part.  It was released before Anthony Green left the band to form Circa Survive (although he eventually returned for their 2016 album, Along the Shadow). This is also the only Saosin release with bassist Zack Kennedy, and the only one without drummer Alex Rodriguez. Guitarist Beau Burchell said that Rodriguez wanted to play on the album but had a prior commitment with his former band Open Hand. Pat Magrath filled in as a session musician and played with Saosin for a short time before Rodriguez joined.
