This week we use a breathing technique known as 4-7-8 breath & a body scan meditation to move to a place of deep rest and relaxation to promote a better nights sleep. Extended Exhale Breathing also known as 4-7-8 breath: inhale through the nose for a count of 4, hold your breath for a count of 7 & exhale through the mouth for a count of 8. This breathing can help decrease anxiety & bring a sense of calm to the mind and body.
