In this episode I share how I’d approach it if my kids asked to start lifting. We’ll cover some common myths about strength training stunting growth and causing injuries, what the evidence really shows, and why properly supervised resistance training can set kids up for a lifetime of strength, health, and confidence.

I then break down some differences in how I’d introduce training based on my childs age, why mastering the six key movement patterns is my starting point, and the importance of letting kids find their own athletic path — not forcing them to follow ours. Whether you’re a coach, a parent, or just someone passionate about strength, this episode will help you think about building a strong foundation the right way.
