This is StRest! Rear Admiral (ret.) Doug Fears—former Homeland Security & Counterterrorism Advisor—joins Kerstin to share the practical, faith-centered protocols that helped him go from burnout at 55 to feeling stronger in his 60s. We walk through an N=1 roadmap: intermittent and extended fasting (autophagy vs. mTOR), sleep and breathing upgrades (tracking, airway work, mouth taping with medical guidance), daily breathwork, red light, sauna/cold, strength and ruck training, hydration/minerals, and oral-health considerations (amalgams, root canals, cavitations) via biological dentistry. Doug frames “good stress” followed by real rest, plus the role of prayer and Scripture in consistency and resilience.
