The term 'millennials' was invented by a pair of American marketing professionals. Many of the propagators of the worst millennial stereotypes (lazy, entitled, fragile) are marketers with a financial incentive to invoke base passions. Malcolm Harris, author of ‘Kids These Days: Human Capital and the Making of Millennials’, explores other angles of approach to generational analysis. Who are millennials as workers? The lecture took place at Strelka in 2018.
