Straight From The Off welcomes Ste Melling to the Podcast. Ste has had life long affiliation to East Villa FC where he has played for a number of years making it into the top 10 for appearances for the great club. He is now the manager of the club and starting yet another chapter in his story, winning the LCFA Challenge Cup last season. Ste has played for Sunday league sides St Sebs and The Western winning multiple trophies for those teams. Ste also has spells in the semi-pro game but always found himself going back to East Villa. He tells us a great story about being invited to the Liverpool FC players party with his good pal Darren Farley and how Dirk Kuyt was ‘In the Doghouse’
He tells us about all the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times.
