Straight From The Off welcomes Stephen McNulty to the Podcast. Stephen played Liverpool FC as a youth and and eventually turned pro with the club. He tells us the mistakes he made as a young pro and how it felt to be released from LFC, and how he had to go and get a regular job. He was persuaded to sign for Burscough FC which kickstarted his love for football again, and it wasn’t too long before other clubs were interested and route back into professional football had begun. Ste played for clubs like Barrow, Fleetwood, Luton, and Tranmere amongst others. He has now taken up management with Bootle FC and tells us what it’s like at that level. Stephen talks about his favourite goals, games and all about the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times.
