The StoryTown Radio Show will host its annual “Salute to Veterans” performance at 7PM on Monday, May 26th at the McKinney Center. The cast will be joined by music guest and hometown favorite The Jonesborough Novelty Band. Featured stories come from local men and women who served in the Armed Forces. Stories include a look at how one family’s legacy of service helped with the creation of the Jonesborough Veterans Memorial Park, which is now 25 years old, tales of care from the US Cadet Nurse Corp, and a unique story of service from the Korean War.
