THE STORY OF TRIPURANTAKA (A Shiva Story Retold)

In this episode of Storytelling With Shweta, we will hear a story called Tripurantaka - A story about Shiva as the vanquisher of cities.  

This story is a retelling of a tale about God Shiva - the Destroyer. As is common with Indian mythology it has many variations and this story is well suited for the youngest to the oldest member of your family. The 

This family-friendly story is best for all who enjoy stories from the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, Indian mythology and South Asian Folk tales about Indian Gods, Goddesses, Asuras, Yakshas and more.  The story was chosen based on a request from a listener. It is dedicated to Aaryan by his mother Sitara.
