
In January 2001, gifted athlete and all around amazing human being, Diane Whipple, was killed in her apartment building by the two large dogs that belonged to a neighbouring couple. What first appeared to be a tragic accident would soon lead to a murder investigation unlike any that the city of San Francisco had ever experienced. As the case unfolded, authorities would learn about the dog owners' links to inmates in the Pelican Bay State Prison, the Arian Brotherhood, dog fighting rings, and a strange adult adoption.
