Annea Lockwood is a New Zealand-born American composer. Her compositions range from sound art and environmental sound installations to concert music.
During the 1960s, Lockwood created works such as the Glass Concerts, and the Piano Transplants series, in which defunct pianos were burned, drowned, beached, and planted.
